1 July - EU law webinar on working time

We are delighted to invite you to the L&E Global webinars. The webinars include your essential labour and employment updates from across the globe, including:

(Working) times are changing, according to the Court of Justice of the European Union - 1 July 2021 - 17h00-18h00 CET

The Court of Justice of the European Union has often surprised national jurisdictions and employers with its rather strict interpretation of the EU Working Time Directive, for example regarding the obligation to register working time. Also, recent cases concerning the conditions to qualify on-call time as working time and on the application of the working time limits for multiple employment contracts for the same employee can be considered as important evolutions in European working time law. Our speakers, including VOW's Gautier Busschaert and Pieter Pecinovsky, will discuss this EU jurisprudence from a practical point of view for employers and you can ask the questions about working time you always wanted to ask.

The webinar has a duration of 1 hour (including a Q&A) and is free of charge.

Speakers:

Gautier Busschaert (Van Olmen & Wynant in Belgium)
• Alexander Lorenz (Pusch Wahlig Workplace Law in Germany)
Pieter Pecinovsky (Van Olmen & Wynant in Belgium)
• Stefania Stanciu (Magda Volonciu & Asociatii in Romania)
