Mr. Jeroen Mues from the corporate/M&A department of VOW, has been elected as National Representative of Belgium at the annual general members’ meeting of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) during the 59th AIJA Congress in Zurich from 24-28 August 2021.
AIJA is the only global association devoted to lawyers and in-house counsel aged 45 and under. Since 1962 AIJA provides outstanding international opportunities for young lawyers to network, learn and develop.
Jeroen will represent Belgium for a three-year mandate.
Jeroen has over 17 years of experience and specializes in (de)mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, joint ventures, financing transactions and business restructuring. His practice includes national and international transactional work for companies active in diverse industries. Jeroen handles both domestic and foreign clients that are looking to invest/divest in Belgium.
