On 9 April 2020, the Belgian legislator published Royal Decree n°4 solving practical issues Belgian legal entities are faced with as a result of the social distancing rules . The Belgian legislator aims to provide ad hoc solutions for the practical issues many Belgian legal entities are currently dealing with.
In the newsletter, which you can dowload below, our Corporate law team highlights the solutions provided by Royal Decree n°4 for all non-listed legal entities governed by Belgian law, that have convened or should convene a general shareholders’/members’ meeting or a board meeting between 1 March 2020 and 3 May 2020. These measures will be applicable until 3 May 2020 and this period can be extended by the Belgian legislator.
