Louise-Cécile Lauwers

Louise-Cécile Lauwers joined Van Olmen & Wynant in February 2026 as a paralegal. Prior to officially starting at the firm, she completed a four-month internship there. She mainly works with the Labour Law (Social Law) Team as well as the Knowledge Management Team, where she works under the direct supervision of Dr. Pieter Pecinovsky.

In her role, Louise-Cécile supports the provision of legal advice on complex matters in the field of social law, including individual and collective labour law, workplace well-being legislation, workplace privacy, anti-discrimination law, social security law in both the private and public sectors, European labour law, social criminal law, dismissal law, and the tax aspects of remuneration.

In addition, she is responsible within the firm for the continuous monitoring and internal dissemination of relevant developments in legislation, case law, and legal doctrine in the field of social law. In this capacity, she contributes, under the supervision of Dr. Pecinovsky, to the continuous updating and strengthening of the team’s legal knowledge.

Louise-Cécile holds a degree in Legal Practice from UC Leuven-Limburg (UCLL).
