Employment Forum on the case law of 2023

Together with the Institute for Company Lawyers (IBJ/IJE), Van Olmen & Wynant organised an Employment Forum on 29 February 2024 with a selection of interesting employment law case law of 2023. We were delighted to receive 90 in-house legal counsels and HR professionals in De Warande in Brussels.

At the same time, it was announced that Van Olmen & Wynant will be the IBJ/IJE Gold Partner for 2024.

The forum was presented by our senior associates Gautier Busschaert and Ségolène de Borchgrave. They discussed European and Belgian case law regarding: privacy, part-time work, discrimination (neutrality policy), the burden of proof and working time during on-call duty, dismissal compensation, urgent dismissals, bogus self-employment and whistleblowing.
