Valérie De Cook is counsel at Van Olmen & Wynant, specialised in corporate law.
Valérie has extensive experience advising national and international corporates on domestic and cross-border M&A and joint ventures; private equity; flotation; loan finance, banking & finance and general corporate and commercial matters.
Before joining Van Olmen & Wynant in 2012, she has worked for over 5 years as a corporate finance lawyer at the Benelux law firm NautaDutilh. From 2007 until 2012, Valérie has worked as legal counsel in the M&A and Restructuring Division within the Legal Department of Dexia Group.
Valérie is fluent in French, English and Dutch. She was admitted to the Brussels Bar in 2002.
Valérie graduated from the University of Namur in 1998 (FUNDP). She holds a law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Louvain (UCL, 2001), a post-graduate degree in financial law, cum laude, from the University of Ghent (RUG, 2002) and a diploma in English commercial law from the College of Law of London in 2006.
